Two Component Resin Mixing and Dosing Machine with 3 tanks

Equipped with suitable metering pumps, precision mixing valves and intelligent control systems, our machines can be configured to meet different mixing ratios, dispensing volumes, material viscosities and production requirements. We offer manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic dispensing solutions, with optional vacuum systems, XYZ dispensing robots, conveyor integration and curing oven connections. Whether you need a standard two component dispensing machine or a customized automatic potting production line, we can help evaluate your material and application requirements to develop a suitable solution.

KPD 2A+1B Three Tanks Epoxy Dispensing Machine is our exclusive 3-tank two-component potting system: 2 tanks for Part A resin + 1 shared tank for Part B hardener. It solves the pain point for factories using two types of A resin (standard epoxy & thermal conductive filled epoxy) for different products. Operators can quickly switch between two A materials on touch screen, no need to empty and clean the A tank, greatly cut material change downtime and glue waste. This machine supports static mixing and dynamic mixing head, optional vacuum potting chamber for zero-bubble encapsulation, ideal for electronic components, clutch coils, transformers, LED drivers and sensors mass potting.

Working Principle

This 2A+1B three-tank dispensing system is designed for two-component potting materials (epoxy, PU, silicone). It is equipped with 2 independent Part A tanks (A1, A2) and 1 shared Part B tank.

  • Two different Part A materials are stored separately in Tank A1 and Tank A2 without mixing or cross-contamination.
  • The PLC system selects either A1 or A2 channel according to the preset recipe. The selected A material and Part B are delivered by servo metering pumps at a precise, set ratio.
  • The two materials converge at the mixing section: pass through a static mixing tube or enter a dynamic mixing chamber for homogeneous blending.
  • Mixed adhesive flows out for potting / dispensing. After production, dynamic mixing head triggers automatic solvent flushing to prevent curing blockage; static mixing only needs nozzle replacement.
  • Optional vacuum degassing removes bubbles inside raw glue; vacuum potting chamber achieves zero-bubble encapsulation for coils and electronics.

FAQ

1. What is a two component glue dispensing machine?

A two component glue dispensing machine is an industrial system designed to meter, mix and dispense two separate materials, commonly known as Part A and Part B. It delivers the materials according to a specified mixing ratio and combines them through a suitable mixing valve or mixer before dispensing. It is widely used for electronic potting, encapsulation, bonding and sealing.

2. What materials can a two component dispensing machine handle?

Depending on the machine configuration and material compatibility, it can handle two component epoxy resin, polyurethane (PU), silicone and other two-part adhesives or potting compounds. The material viscosity, filler content, mixing ratio, curing time and chemical properties should be evaluated before selecting the equipment.

3. What mixing ratios are supported by a 2K glue dispensing machine?

The required mixing ratio depends on the adhesive formulation. Common ratios include 1:1, 2:1, 4:1 and other customized ratios. The machine must be configured according to the adhesive manufacturer’s technical data sheet. It is also important to confirm whether the ratio is specified by weight or by volume.

4. How accurate is the mixing ratio?

Mixing ratio accuracy depends on the metering pump, material properties, calibration, operating conditions and dispensing parameters. A suitable metering system and regular ratio verification help maintain consistent material delivery. Please provide your required ratio and accuracy target so that the appropriate configuration can be evaluated.

5. What is the difference between a gear pump and a screw pump?

Gear pumps are commonly used for stable metering of compatible materials with suitable viscosity and flow characteristics. Screw pumps can be suitable for certain viscous or filler-containing materials, depending on the pump design. The best choice depends on material viscosity, abrasiveness, filler content, required flow rate and dispensing accuracy.
