Working Principle
The 2K screw dispensing valve adopts positive-displacement volumetric metering principle. Two independent servo motors drive separate screw rotor-stator assemblies for Part A resin and Part B hardener respectively. A fixed volume of material is delivered with each rotation of the screw.
The PLC system adjusts the rotating speed of the two servo motors independently to set the required mixing ratio and dispensing flow rate. Resin A and hardener B are transported through completely isolated channels and will not contact each other until they enter the disposable static mixing nozzle at the outlet. This design prevents premature curing inside the valve.
When dispensing stops, the screw performs a slight reverse suck-back action to cut off the glue flow instantly. It effectively eliminates dripping and stringing. The uniformly mixed two-component material is then dispensed onto workpieces for potting, encapsulation or bonding.
