KPD Two Component PU Glue Mixing and Spraying Equipment is designed for precise metering, uniform mixing, and consistent spraying of two-component polyurethane adhesives. The system independently delivers Part A (PU resin) and Part B (curing agent) through precision metering pumps, then blends the two components in a dynamic mixing unit before applying the mixed adhesive to the target surface. Featuring automatic edge detection, intelligent glue output control, adhesive heating and temperature maintenance, and automatic material replenishment, the system adjusts glue application according to workpiece dimensions and conveyor speed. Its anti-sedimentation agitation system helps maintain stable adhesive conditions, while the anti-drip suction valve minimizes dripping and material waste. The automatic cleaning function simplifies maintenance and helps reduce production downtime. Suitable for honeycomb panels, sandwich panels, insulation boards, aluminum panels, furniture components, and other industrial bonding applications, this system helps improve coating consistency, production efficiency, and adhesive utilization.
The Two-Component Polyurethane (PU) Glue Spray Machine is an industrial adhesive application system designed for sandwich panel manufacturing. It meters, mixes and sprays two-component polyurethane adhesive onto designated panel surfaces to support bonding between facing materials and insulation cores.
This 2K PU glue spraying solution can be configured for compatible sandwich panel materials, including PU, PIR, EPS, mineral wool (rock wool), XPS and phenolic insulation cores. It is suitable for applications involving metal facings and other compatible panel substrates.
With configurable metering, mixing, spraying and automation functions, the system helps manufacturers improve adhesive distribution, reduce manual application and support repeatable bonding quality in continuous or semi-automatic panel production processes.
1.Automatic edge finding: (automatic recognition) automatically adjusts the glue spraying position according to the size and length of the board;
2. Automatic glue spray amount: (automatically adjusts the speed of glue dispensing according to the size of the board and the conveying speed);
3. Automatic feeding: When the glue volume in the glue barrel is lower than the set lower limit, the glue adding process will be automatically started.
4. One-click start: Eliminate the tedious preparation work before starting up, and realize automatic operation to working status with one click;
5. Glue heating: The equipment is equipped with glue heating and heat preservation functions, so that the glue is not restricted by ambient temperature and region, allowing customers to choose the brand of glue more freely;
6. Anti-sedimentation mixing: A glue barrel is equipped with an intelligent control mixing device to prevent precipitation or stratification caused by long-term stasis of glue, and to ensure that the glue is heated evenly when heated.
7. Visual mixing: The equipment adopts imported dynamic mixing tubes and is matched with Taiwan’s high-speed brushless motor to achieve adjustable mixing speed and direct viewing of the mixing status to ensure uniform mixing;
8.Disassembly-free automatic cleaning: The equipment adopts a high-pressure gas-liquid automatic switching cleaning device. There is no need to disassemble the glue spray head, achieving true disassembly-free cleaning in the industry, and the cleaning effect is visible to the naked eye;
9.Patented glue-controlled suction valve: The equipment is equipped with our company’s patented glue-controlled anti-drip suction valve, which can open the glue in time and close the glue quickly with suction adjustment;
10.Special metering pump: The equipment adopts a special polyurethane high-flow and wear-resistant precision metering pump , which can accurately control glue and adjust the flow rate to achieve an accuracy of ±0.5%, effectively avoiding inaccurate proportions and greatly improving the product qualification rate;
1. Adhesive Supply and Heating: Part A and Part B are stored in separate tanks. The main resin tank is equipped with heating and agitation systems to prevent sedimentation and separation. The curing agent tank may include an anti-crystallization function to maintain stable material conditions.
2. Metering and Ratio Control: Precision metering pumps deliver Parts A and B according to the preset mixing ratio, commonly adjustable from 1:1 to 5:1. Metering accuracy can reach ±1% to ±2%, depending on the system configuration. Accurate ratio control is essential for consistent adhesive performance and material cost management.
3. Dynamic Mixing: The two components enter a dynamic mixing head, where they are thoroughly blended before being delivered to the curtain coating head. Some configurations also include vacuum degassing to reduce residual air bubbles.
4. Curtain Coating: The coating head moves horizontally under the control of a reciprocating mechanism, while the conveyor transports the substrate longitudinally. The mixed adhesive falls onto the substrate as a continuous curtain or controlled stream. Typical application rates range from 120 to 350 g/m², with adjustable dispensing flow rates of 5–75 g/s, depending on the material and application requirements.
5. Automatic Cleaning and Material Replenishment: The system can support material replenishment during production and may include a one-touch cleaning function. Rapid cleaning of the mixing section helps prevent cured adhesive from blocking the mixing head and delivery lines.
The curtain coating system mainly consists of three functional assemblies:
Curtain Head Reciprocating System: Controls the horizontal movement of the coating head to ensure uniform coverage across the substrate.
Conveyor System: Transports panels or workpieces at a controlled speed, typically adjustable from 0 to 8 m/min, depending on the configuration.
Adhesive Supply System: Includes material tanks, metering pumps, delivery pipelines, metering valves, and the mixing head for accurate two-component material delivery.
