Automatic AB glue mixing dispensing machine

Working Principle

The semi-automatic potting machine is designed for two-component adhesive (A & B glue) dispensing and potting.
Raw material Part A and Part B are separately stored in sealed pressure tanks. Under stable pneumatic pressure, the two glues are delivered to a metering system. Precision metering pumps control the flow rate and mixing ratio accurately according to the preset formula.
A & B materials converge and get fully mixed inside the static mixing tube, then the mixed adhesive flows to the dispensing valve. Operators manually position the workpiece or control the movement of the dispensing head. When the valve opens, uniform mixed glue is dispensed onto the workpiece for potting, sealing and encapsulation.
After dispensing, the mixing nozzle can be cleaned automatically or manually to avoid residual glue curing and blockage.

FAQ

1. What is a two component glue dispensing machine?

A two component glue dispensing machine is an industrial system designed to meter, mix and dispense two separate materials, commonly known as Part A and Part B. It delivers the materials according to a specified mixing ratio and combines them through a suitable mixing valve or mixer before dispensing. It is widely used for electronic potting, encapsulation, bonding and sealing.

2. What materials can a two component dispensing machine handle?

Depending on the machine configuration and material compatibility, it can handle two component epoxy resin, polyurethane (PU), silicone and other two-part adhesives or potting compounds. The material viscosity, filler content, mixing ratio, curing time and chemical properties should be evaluated before selecting the equipment.

3. What mixing ratios are supported by a 2K glue dispensing machine?

The required mixing ratio depends on the adhesive formulation. Common ratios include 1:1, 2:1, 4:1 and other customized ratios. The machine must be configured according to the adhesive manufacturer’s technical data sheet. It is also important to confirm whether the ratio is specified by weight or by volume.

4. How accurate is the mixing ratio?

Mixing ratio accuracy depends on the metering pump, material properties, calibration, operating conditions and dispensing parameters. A suitable metering system and regular ratio verification help maintain consistent material delivery. Please provide your required ratio and accuracy target so that the appropriate configuration can be evaluated.

5. What is the difference between a gear pump and a screw pump?

Gear pumps are commonly used for stable metering of compatible materials with suitable viscosity and flow characteristics. Screw pumps can be suitable for certain viscous or filler-containing materials, depending on the pump design. The best choice depends on material viscosity, abrasiveness, filler content, required flow rate and dispensing accuracy.
