2 Component Meter Mix Dispense System | Two Part Potting Dispensing Machine

The 2 Component Meter Mix Dispense System is an industrial 2K automated fluid handling equipment for two-part adhesives and sealants. It adopts servo positive displacement metering technology to meter Part A and Part B separately, then mix inline and dispense on demand. Mixing ratio can be adjusted from 1:1 up to 10:1 via touch screen with metering accuracy ±1%. Compatible with epoxy, PU, silicone and polysulfide, this system supports shot dispensing and continuous bead sealing. It can run standalone or integrate with gantry robots, conveyors and vacuum chambers for electronic potting, automotive sensor sealing and solar junction box encapsulation, cutting material waste and stabilizing production quality

The 2 Component Meter Mix Dispense System is an automated solution designed for precise metering, mixing, and dispensing of two-part industrial materials. It independently delivers Components A and B at a preset mixing ratio and combines them through a static or dynamic mixing unit before application.

Suitable for compatible epoxy resin, silicone, polyurethane (PU), sealants, and industrial adhesives, this two-component dispensing system helps improve mixing consistency, dispensing repeatability, and production efficiency. With configurable metering pumps, material tanks, dispensing valves, and optional XYZ motion control, the system can be adapted to electronic potting, industrial sealing, adhesive bonding, and customized manufacturing processes.

Working Principle

This 2 component meter mix dispense system separately meters Part A (base resin / sealant) and Part B (curing agent / hardener) and mixes them inline right before dispensing.

1. Material Feeding & Storage

Part A and Part B two-component materials are stored in independent material tanks. For high-viscosity sealants, tanks can be equipped with stirring and heating functions. Material is fed into the servo metering pumps by pressure feeding or vacuum feeding. Low-level sensors monitor material volume and trigger an alarm when material is insufficient, preventing air from entering the metering system.

2. Precision Metering (Core Step)

Two independent servo positive displacement pumps drive Part A and Part B respectively. According to the preset mixing ratio, flow rate and dispensing volume in the PLC touchscreen, the servo system controls the rotation speed of each pump to deliver accurate volumes of A and B materials.

  • Mixing ratio adjustable: 1:1 ~ 10:1
  • Metering accuracy: ±1% The ratio is controlled by the pump displacement and servo speed, no manual adjustment of hardware.

3. Inline Mixing

The metered Part A and Part B flow simultaneously to the mixing head.

  • Static mixing (standard): Materials flow through a disposable static mixer. The spiral baffles inside continuously split and recombine the two fluids to achieve homogeneous mixing. Best for epoxy, PU, medium-viscosity silicone sealant.
  • Dynamic mixing (optional): A motor-driven rotating impeller inside the mixing head stirs materials forcibly. Suitable for high viscosity, poor flowability or hard-to-blend 2K sealants and adhesives.

4. Dispensing & Suck-back Anti-drip

After mixing, the homogeneous 2-component sealant/adhesive flows out from the dispensing nozzle onto the workpiece. Once the dispensing cycle finishes, the suck-back valve instantly pulls a small amount of material back. This eliminates dripping, stringing or glue tail, ensuring clean bead or shot finish.

5. PLC Closed-loop Control

The whole process is managed by PLC + touch screen. All parameters including ratio, flow rate, dispensing time, shot volume can be saved as product recipes. Users can quickly switch programs for different sealants or workpieces. Production data (dispensing volume, batch records) can be logged for traceability.

Core logic summary: Separate metering → Inline mixing → On-demand dispensing Materials are only mixed right before dispensing, avoiding waste of pre-mixed fast-curing 2K adhesive/sealant.
